At the peak of the NFT boom, crypto culture was moving at a pace no one had seen before. Wagmi Wheel was an exploratory concept built to tap into that energy: a spin-to-win mechanic where users wagered crypto for a shot at NFT prizes. The design challenge was making something feel genuinely thrilling without leaning into the chaos that defined so much of the space.
The Concept
Gamble culture meets Web3.
The core mechanic was simple: connect your wallet, choose your wager, spin the wheel. But the experience design had to do a lot of heavy lifting. Trust signals, prize transparency, wallet integration, and a UI that felt native to crypto culture without alienating newcomers. The visual language drew from both casino aesthetics and the bold, high-contrast palettes that defined NFT project branding at the time.
